The Racers Edge

Our wheels were born from racing. Long before our wheels first adorned a bicycle, we were building carbon wheels for motorsport. We learned first-hand that the competitive nature of racing combined with the high demands of top-level athletes develops wheels that are reliable, strong and of course; fast.

Case in point: Our SCOM Ultra range. A zero-coating filament-wound rim that is built with stiffness and aerodynamics at the forefront. Sure, they're light, but they can also take a beating. At the center of the wheelset are our proprietary hubs with oversized ceramic bearings. Racing happens regardless of the weather, so weather-proofing was a top priority for these hubs.

Lacing the whole wheel together are our carbon spokes. These race-proven 2.6g of carbon fiber bring an unrivalled stiffness to the wheelset while keeping weight down.

The SCOM brand finds its foundation in Xiamen Hongji Zhiyuan Industry & Trade Company, which was established in 2016. The company has rich experience in the research & development and manufacturing of carbon fiber automobile and motorcycle wheels. The brand aims to capitalize on this strong research and development base and introduce international design elements to bring its products to the next level. Now the company is committed to building a trustworthy high-end bicycle wheel brand that can take athletes to the top step of the podium worldwide.

Wheel Appearance

SCOM wheel set paint-free surface rim, unparalleled surface texture and gloss, every self-winding and woven carbon fiber inside the rim is clearly visible.....

Wheel hub

Ultra series disc brake hubs do not win with light weight. The widened and large flange optimized for carbon spokes provides strong lateral and driving rigidity for the wheel set; large size bearings bring lower rotational resistance and more Long service life.

Wheel Spokes

Carbon fiber replaceable spokes, matched with high-strength hubs, assembled by experienced hoop makers in the factory.

SCOM for Sharp Competition

While many wheel brands will sponsor racing teams purely as a means of marketing, SCOM believes team sponsorship is a cornerstone of its product development program. Only by making products that meet the high standards of international athletes can SCOM be satisfied that its products are ready for consumers worldwide. The nature of bike racing means a race-winning wheelset must be robust, reliable, and of course; fast.
